Since I’m also attempting NaNoWriMo this month, today’s blogging prompt is very appropriate.
The title of my book would have to be the same as the title, and subject, for that matter, of my blog. The Mindstorm: Raising a Mentally Ill Child. My husband has been trying to get me to take my journal, my blog posts, my tweets and other stuff I’ve written and form it in to some kind of book for years. He bugs me whenever I sit down at my PC to do something time-wasting to use 10 minutes of that time to write. I guess I’m finally going to give it a shot. Who knows, maybe I’ll have a big mess of nothing on the other side of this month, but at least I can say I gave it the old college try.
You might say this isn’t about my life, it’s about Tim’s life. But it’s about all our lives. Mine, Tom’s, Tim’s, Wonderboy’s, and The Daughter’s. Mental illness is a family affair. We are all living this life, all 17.5 years (so far) of it.
